Cut Hands @ The Vortex, 24 Mar
其實這是倫敦電子音樂廠牌 Exotic Pylon 辦的一連四天的活動, 看了Line up 只認識Alexander Tucker跟Cut Hands, 而Alexander Tucker棄吉他改玩取樣機後的現場實在有點不知所云, 所以決定只去第四天. The Vortex 位在之前去過的cafe oto 附近, 屬於較晚發展但是相對更富活力的東倫敦, 從網站上的節目表看來是一間很熱絡的Jazz Club, 不過偶爾也有電子音樂表演的樣子. 比較特別的是表演場地位於二樓(看起來是鐵皮屋頂), 一樓是餐廳. 晚上第一個表演者Ship Canal 算是常見的laptop music, 音量也普普; 第二個藝人Dalglish 就開始有一些暴力的電聲拼貼, 不過仍感覺沒捎到癢處. The Thing, cafe oto, 3 Oct
昨天下午查了一下,原來cafe oto從我家坐公車十分鐘就到了,於是晚餐後出發,約八點到達. 場地整體氣氛比較像(已故)小客廳,燈光昏暗點蠟燭,場地應該是兩個店面打通,沒有明顯的舞台區域,音箱跟樂器就擺在觀眾席/咖啡桌中間. 我到的時候已經有些穿著不錯的人坐著聊天喝紅酒,票口還站著幾個日本女生,之前聽說藝術家/文藝人士聚集的東倫敦,大概就是這樣吧! 買票後繞去商品區跟吧檯看看, 雖然周邊價格算是合理(T-shirt 15磅, CD 12磅, hand printed poster 15磅)不過想到老婆都待在家裡省錢了, 自己還是節制點好XD 沒想到坐下後居然等了一小時才開始……中間我試著跟坐我旁邊的阿伯聊天(你騎車來喔?對阿因為我住XXXX. 喔,我住Old...
